Addie’s grandma has created a unique opportunity to add a bit of nostalgia to your home while donating to a great cause.

Hint: Mother’s Day is just around the corner!

Commodities were once sold across America in large barrels. In time it became more practical and economical to ship many commodities including flour, sugar, and seeds to grocers in large cotton sacks. It wasn't long before 2, 5, 10 and 25 lb. sacks were stocked on grocery shelves in a more convenient size for home use.

These very limited sugar and flour sacks date from the late 1950's to the early 1970's when paper packaging came into common use in Denver, CO. These are original cotton bags that have been individually hand and machine embellished.

No two are alike!
